New vision of hormones
Testosterone, the female hormone
Not only is testosterone normally present but its absence is deeply felt, in both sexes!
Testosterone should not be called either a sex hormone or a "male" hormone. A driver of aggression both sexual & generic, its wide impact on mind & body is as important in women as in men & testosterone deficiency is tightly linked with depression, sexual dysfunction, lack of libido and generalized fatigue in both genders, as well as with cognitive difficulty & accelerated physical aging.
