Oral estrogen's are cheap but not worth the risks & lack of benefit.

So called 'bio-identical' hormones are actually not bio-identical at all, & that's an easily provable fact. 

Compounded products aren't nearly as good as those of Big Pharma, hard fact!

Sex hormone testing even in the blood has very limited value monitoring menopausal HRT & salivary testing, although adequate for testing cortisol hormone patterns is only semi-quantitative.  As for salivary levels of the sex hormones, read on.
